Ms. Story admitted to Jefferson Manor’s COVID Unit from Norton Women & Children’s Hospital, after trying to battle COVID at home. Ms. Story kept a positive mind and spirit throughout her stay and was determined to return home with her family for Christmas. After 10 days, she successfully discharged home. She left with happy tears in her eyes and her “Survived COVID” shirt and matching mask. We are so proud of you!

Hero’s Journey: Donald

Mr. Fultineer admitted to Jefferson Manor’s COVID Unit after testing positive during his rehab stay at a sister facility. He did not let COVID stop him, as he was determined to complete his therapy and discharge home by Christmas. Mr. Fultineer did just that and discharged home after 11 days on the unit. Congratulations on fighting COVID and WINNING!

Five Star Ratings

A Five-Star Rating can be a resource in choosing a center, but it doesn’t always tell the complete story.

For example, Jefferson Manor is currently a one-star center and that rating is based on a deficiency that occurred in 2017, over three years ago. Since that time, Signature Healthcare at Jefferson Manor has only had one complaint survey that found one minor concern. Due to the current pandemic, the annual health inspections stopped which means that the previous survey from back in 2017 remains which is the only reason we continue to be a one star overall today. When the survey process reopens, our star rating will increase. Our Quality Measures, that look at different clinical metrics and our staffing, are both three stars.
