Mr. Donald Skaggs admitted to Jefferson Place following an elective knee replacement. Donald called and pre-registered at Jefferson Place to reserve his spot! He was anxious to get up and start therapy from the moment he got in the door!
He worked hard with therapy and after just 9 days, he discharged home with his wife!

Mrs. Jane Summay admitted to Jefferson Place from Baptist Hospital after a fractured hip! Jane suffered a fall that resulted in surgery to repair the fracture. She worked with therapy to regain her mobility, balance, and strength.
Jane discharged home after just 10 short days of rehab!

Beach ball drumming was a hit with the residents!
They drummed to the beat of the music while getting a little exercise.
Our home was fortunate to receive care packages as part of a local Eagle Scout’s project! Each resident received a coloring book, colored pencils, and a letter and picture from different individuals, describing an adventure they had been on.
Everyone loved being able to be taken to a different location through the letters they received!
Residents are experimenting with different types of painting this month!
Today they painted with yarn, creating two identical paintings.
